2018

Every single day in life is a challenge, the question is do you really appreciate the gift of life?  For me my ultimate goal is to be MS symptom free and through endurance racing and challenging myself in Ironman races,triathlons and other events, this brings discipline into my life, makes me accountable and helps me fight disease and illness.  This year my big goals will be Barcelona 70.3M Ironman and Bolton Full Ironman 140.6M.  Don't let anyone ever tell you, you cannot do something - everything is possible #I R O N M I N D  

2017

This year I will be living over ten years with MS.  To celebrate I will be running marathons, competing in triathlons, Ironman races and also doing my first Ultra marathon in the West coast of Ireland. I am committed to constantly challenging my body and my mind and interestingly, my focus and mental clarity has never been so strong.

After an incredible year of achievement in 2015, I have been asking myself a very serious and deep question of late...

"How can I become a better version of me"

This is quite a deep question and its one that I have had to strip back some layers to find an answer to.  Over the last nine years I have proved to myself, my family and the world, that despite living with Multiple Sclerosis, I can still go on and achieve my dreams.  Dreams like having a family, building a fantastic business, smiling again, run again and even achieve the ultimate in adventure racing - become an IRONMAN.  Its been an incredible ride.  I think I am now focused on becoming a better version of me for the foreseeable future.  This will mean that I will continue to test myself at adventure racing with marathons, triathlons and other crazy things, however I will also start to study and try and understand food and nutrition better, and understand more concisely what foods I should and definitely should not be eating.  I am going to continue reading and finding people who inspire me so I can continue to tap into their mindset, and I am going to continue writing.  This will help me on my way to becoming a stronger version of me.  I look forward ti your continued support.
