F@#k it, go and do it !

As we approach the end of Q1 2023, i’m currently reviewing how i’ve got on over this past few months.

In my own experience in life, and in particular over the last 5 years, i’ve started to pay closer attention to my own behaviour, actions, words etc…

Being accountable to yourself is an exercise worth embracing, and one of the best ways to do that, is to regularly review where you are at in life, on the health front, business, family, relationships etc…

Without going into too much detail, overall I mark myself about 7/10 for the first quarter of the year.

My really positive point being my body and mind has remained strong, and my neurological symptoms continue to be at an all time low.

One of the areas i’ve failed miserably in, was the promise I made to myself (and the community who follow my story, particularly for health reasons,)was the promise that I would write more this year, sharing experiences.

That is something I will rectify in Q2 of 2023.

One of the reasons I love to share, post and write about all things health related, is that i am able to now get quite abit of exposure through my social channels, be it facebook, instagram or twitter.

The really great news being that by me continuing to do that, people often engage with positive feedback and encouragement, in terms of by seeing me doing well, it helps them believe they can also do well. This is incredibly rewarding on a personal front.

One such example was over the weekend when I got a message from someone i don’t know or never met.

She had just finished listening to my audio book, Ironmind - Against All Odds, the outcome of which was the fact that she had finally decided to make a decision, after months ofprocrastinating, to start open water swimming.

The title of this blog, was a copy and paste of part of the message she sent me :)

It’s always fantastic to get any kind of feedback in life, and on Sunday past, it was a real reminder to me of how powerful and moreso important it is for me to continue to share my positive experiences around my health.

I sometimes forget, and this is wrong of me, of how ill i was not that long ago.

2006 -2010 were horrendous years, and although that’s over 12 years ago now, I remember that time like yesterday.

So the good news for me being that my health is fantastic, my body is holding up, and i’m planning to help it continue in this vein, by being more consistent with my training in Q2.

If you are reading this and feeling abit flat right now, can I suggest you give yourself a break, dust yourself down, write down what you want to do / accomplish in April 2023, and just as my new friend said to me at the weekend -

F@#k it, go and do it 🌟🌟🌟

Keep the faith all 🙏
